Spent a day at the Wings And Wheels event at Dunsfold
Despite spending over an hour stopped in a traffic jam trying to get into Dunsfold! and the steep £20 entrance fee the event was pretty good with both aircraft and vintage cars on display and performing.
The Red Arrows performed one of the best displays i've seen of them over the past 35yrs!
The B-25 performed a top display showing just what you can do with a 'light' B-25 bomber.
The extra towing the S1 was unbelievable both performing aerobatics whilst under tow and fast speeds, with the S1 performing some amazing aerobatics off the tow.
The lanc sounded great but not as good as the Gruff sounding Griffon Spitfire top stuff!!! |
